	Hello Everyone! I would like to welcome new and returning members to the LHS Chorale for the 2021-2022 school year. I hope your summer is going well and you are all getting ready and motivated for the upcoming year. We had 2 rehearsals so far this summer and I am very pleased with the motivation and outcome. This is a talented group and I am looking forward to a year filled with beautiful music with them. Please read below for some important announcements, reminders and forms to return: 1. The first Music Association meeting of the year is scheduled for Tuesday, August 24th at 7:30pm. Here you will learn more about the association and the plans we have for our upcoming year. I will send more details and a reminder closer to the meeting date. "The Lyndhurst High School Music Association encourages you to join us in supporting your child(ren)'s music program. In order for your child to be eligible for any upcoming benefits (scholarships, varsity jackets, music dinner, trips, various giveaways, etc.), your membership is required." The chorale handbook was created so that parents and students are aware of the expectations for this prestigious group. Please follow this link to review and complete the 2021-2022 Chorale Handbook Contract. If they haven't already done so, student chorale members should download the band app and join the 21-22 Chorale page as well as the 21-22 Chorale google classroom page. Links and invite codes are posted on my teacher webpage. 4. Masks must be worn indoors during rehearsal. I had given singing masks to returning chorale members last year. Those masks should again be utilized. New members will be given a mask to use. These masks are the responsibility of members to have during ALL rehearsals and performances unless the time comes that they are no longer mandated. 5.
