Introduction to RaiseRight Fundraising

(Formerly Scrip)

Each band member is able to raise money for their individual accounts to defray the cost of the band trip.

One of the easiest fundraisers is RaiseRight.

It is monthly and year-round.

What do you do?

Buy gift cards at face value.

Each month a list of retailers is provided. (One will be attached to a monthly email)

With each gift card you purchase at face value, the retailer gives you a percentage rebate.

That percentage goes right into the individual student's account.

For example: I buy a $100 Shoprite gift card. The percentage Shoprite allocates per card is 4%.

Without paying more than face value - my child receives $4 into their account.

Because I live at Shoprite, I order 5, $100 gift cards monthly. Therefore each month we raise $20 with little effort.

Please note that Shoprite has a low percentage. 

Starbucks is 7%

Old Navy is 14%

Barnes & Noble is 8%

 Each month there will be a RaiseRight email with 2 attachments:

●       list of retailers

●       order form

Each order is usually due the same date as the LHS Music Association meetings.

You can order 2 ways:

Directly online OR submit an order form to me at the meetings.

You can pay 2 ways: check or credit card

***please note you get less of a rebate if you pay via credit card!***

Quick facts:

●        no extra cost to you

●        you can buy as many cards as you like

●        if you have events like a baby shower, birthday coming up - buy a gift card and raise money!

●        Great for Christmas gifts

●        Hundreds of retailers participate: Dunkin Donuts, CVS, Staples, etc.
